Sutivan is not only beach, boats and rich culture, but also amazing gastronomy. Tourists are always delighted by the hospitable and charming hosts who reveal to them the secrets of traditional Dalmatian cuisine, wines, songs and entertainment. We have also emphasize the rich cultural heritage. Sutivan grow up in the 15th century on the site where in the early Christian era there was a temple of St.John ( Sveti Ivan ). The old St.John Church was built as triple-apsed early Christian church ( with four lessens on the outside ) is still standing today. There are many masterpieces of the artists and sculptor in Sutivan. For example, in St.John`s Church, there are the altarpiece of Our Lady of Rosary, of the central Italian school ( 17th century ) and the Madonna by Vinko Draganja. The Saint patron of Sutivan is St. Rocco and in the Definis house, there is a collection of furniture and works of art. St. Rocco` Chapel in the graveyards and inside there is a wooden statue of St. Rocco by V.Tironi and several paintings of the central Dalmatian era. In the eastern part of the town, there is a windmill which has been converted into a home.
