The history of Jägerhorn dates back to the beginning of the 19th century, making this the oldest standing hotel in Zagreb. In 1827, the hotel was acquired by family Rumleitner from Vrbovac, who renamed the property from “Austria’s prince” to Jägerhorn.

Beautifully designed, each room is unique in shape and size, with traditional royal blue and beige fabrics chosen to complement a combination of contemporary and upcycled furniture, resulting in a blend of elegance, style and functionality.

With time Jägerhorn established itself as a cultural and political icon of Zagreb, noted by many historical accounts linking our name to many Croatian historical figures such as the central person of the Croatian national reformation Ljudevit Gaj, Ban Josip Jelacic, and others.
